Course contents

The intention is to provide authentic experience of project leadership with research assistants. At the same time also providing the WIL master student with authentic research project experience as a research assistant. The project is designed and led by the PhD student, who is responsible for planning, delegating and supervising tasks related to the PhD thesis. The main aim of the course is to expand PhD students’ research leadership skills to include leading people involved in research projects. The course builds on tasks related to the PhD student’s thesis projects, thus providing authentic work-integrated learning. Tasks for research assistants should be related to literature organization, data collection, data organizing and likewise (not research writing/co-authorship).
