Entry requirements
General entry requirements and approved result from the following course/courses: ATM700 Automation Systems, DIL700 Deep Learning IAU600 Industrial Automation or the equivalent.
The forms of assessment of student performance
Group project with oral presentation. Active participation in seminar.
Re-examination of the seminars is done through an individual written assignment.
Course contents
The course focuses on AI technologies commonly used in industrial applications. It also covers state-of-the-art AI technologies and their potential use in industry. Emphasis is placed on the latest research in applied AI, with a special focus on industrial solutions. The course includes a practical component where students develop an AI system from concept to implementation. The developed AI system is then integrated with an industrial automation system. The course also addresses the use of AI from an ethical and socially sustainable perspective, including aspects of gender equality.
