- recall recent pivotal macroeconomic events

- identify the most suitable theory or model for analyzing a given macroeconomic problem
- utilize macroeconomic theories and models to analyze macroeconomic issues
- assess the effects of economic events and policies on macroeconomic outcomes

- analyze fundamental macroeconomic questions
- approach macroeconomic inquiries with a discerning and methodologically rigorous attitude
- analyze and contextualize economic issues as presented in news and political discussions.
