Course contents

The objective of the course is to familiarise students with the specificity of international economics. Students will learn basic theories why do countries engage in exchange of goods, why do they specialise in certain products, how does it affect different economic groups, how countries try to protect interests of particular groups and how does it affect their growth. The course also addresses problems related to international movement of capital and labour and their impact on foreign exchange rates and balance of payments.
